We'd really appreciate your help in supporting our efforts to save as many animals as we can!
Maggie and Me Animal Rescue was founded out of a simple belief — that every animal deserves a second chance, no matter where they started. As founder, Terri Anne Fitch brings years of hands-on rescue experience to this mission, including disaster relief efforts with Best Friends Animal Society during Hurricane Harvey. There she saw firsthand what it takes to save lives when everything is on the line.
Terri is also the author of a neonatal care booklet, written to help fellow rescuers and fosters navigate the delicate, round-the-clock work of caring for the youngest and most vulnerable kittens — because knowledge shared is more lives saved. You can find it here: Amazon
What started as one person's determination to help has grown into a foster-based network built on trust, hard work, and a whole lot of heart. Terri works hand in hand
with local animal control and community partners to give at-risk cats and dogs in North Georgia a real shot at a happy, healthy life.
This work isn't easy. It means early mornings, emergency vet runs, and saying goodbye to fosters when they finally find their forever homes — but every one of those goodbyes means a life was saved. That's what keeps this rescue going.
A righteous one cares for the needs of their animal. Proverbs 12:10
