We'd really appreciate your help in supporting our efforts to save as many animals as we can!
They were on the euthanasia list at Bartow County Animal Control in Georgia. Their adopter saw them on B.A.R.K.'s feed and applied. Maggie & Me Animal Rescue was already on the way to get them,
and this past Saturday the boys arrived at their new home.
After losing her beloved dog, Boss, she wasn't sure she was ready to adopt again. But a rescue dog named Muffinworth, later called Angel, kept appearing on her social media, and something told her to reach out to Maggie and Me Animal Rescue. After taking the time to ensure they were a good match, the two finally met, and she knew she'd found her girl. Now lovingly named Birdie, this sweet dog has brought comfort, companionship, and joy to her adopter, a teacher at Apalachee High School who was among those affected by the tragic 2024 shooting. As she so beautifully shared, "A beautiful dog was saved, and a part of my heart that has been completely empty since losing Boss is finally whole again." Birdie's story reminds us that rescue isn't just about giving animals a second chance. It's also about the extraordinary difference they can make in the lives of the people who love them.
